One of the utility applications to come from our research has been the "Coffee Shop Login". This handy little program enables your device to login to the Canadian Starbucks WiFi (Bell Hot spots) with your registered Starbucks card. We help you get your full cup of WiFi (2 hours a day currently).
For a very small one time cost your use of Starbucks free WiFI will go up tremendously. iTouch users will find this program to be WAY more useful than first impressions would lead you to believe. Just buy/download our app and you'll no longer be typing in those userIDs and passwords again and again.
Version 1.5 now available to addresses changes by Starbucks Canada.
Login now uses your Starbucks web userID and Password.
You will have to edit your saved settings.
Known issues:
The "Attempting to login. Please wait..." popup often will not go away. While it is clear that the underlying pages of the portal have been activated and login has been competed. Just close the program and open it again. You will see that you are indeed connected. Safari, email etc are now all ready for use.
Version 3.0 OS brings with it an auto login feature. With all due respect Apple, we find this pops up every time a wifi location has a login page and if we hit cancel the iPhone turns off that wifi site?
Some work arounds for this pop up have been reported to us. In Settings ->wifi when you have the bell_hostspot on the screen hit the blue arrow and on that resulting screen you can have it remeber the network. It may now need the phone to be re-booted (fully powered off). Our development group now runs a newer beta OS and they report that this pop up annoyance has either gone away or has not caused such a disruptive apperance.
